AD Consulting was entrusted with developing the concept of E Branches for GTBank. The challenge was real, would the target niche wedded to the idea of human interphases in the conventional banking switch to E-banking and reduce the footfall in the existing branches? In the designs for the GTBank e-branches visual cues were adopted. Instead of the usual physical barriers such as queue ropes, the ceiling heights were dropped and the floor tiling pattern and colour scheme were deployed to denote the areas of privacy. The outcome was e-branches that were very well received at their introduction by a populace accustomed to human interphase in banking.
